The book store seemed ancient compared to what Rai was used to, but the book he needed was a very old textbook. He walked in and looked around for a minute. "Hmm...where would the old textbooks be?" He thought to himself out loud.

Raven who had been standing up front looking at some books heard the question being asked. Looking around she didn't see anyone that looked like they were going to help. "They are on the left wall that way." she said pointing to the left wall.

Rai turned to the girl that had helped him. "Ah! Thanks!" He started to walk towards where she had indicated, but stopped and turned back to her. "Do you work here, or do you just shop here often? If you don't mind me asking." Rai asked as politely as he could think of. "I do not know many people that read books like this anymore, so I thought I would get some perspective from someone who still reads paper books."

She smiled and looked at him. "No I just really like books." she said shrugging. "I come in here enough that they should hire me.. I know where pretty much everything is at." she said looking around at all the books fondly. "Yes, I still read paper books. But not all the time. I just like the feel of the book in my hand." she said, shrugging again.

Rai chuckled. "Yeah, I think I can understand that. I am a scientist, and even though I usually read the digital books now, I am a scientist. I prefer to use the older experiments though, instead of the newer ones, because it just feels right. Some people laugh about that, but I do not see anything wrong with doing things the way they used to be done." Rai laughed, "Sorry, I am pretty passionate about what I do, so I always accidentally end up talking about it. "My name is Rai, Rai Lucine by the way. What's yours?"
